Senior Client Administrator - KYC

Jennyta joined Albula Asset Management International in 2019 as Junior Administrator supporting our Administration and Reconciliation department. She holds a BA (Hons) in History with Applied Research Methods from the University of Mauritius and has a basic knowledge of the German language (CEFR A1).

Jennyta joined our Client Services Department in 2020 and is currently Senior Client Administrator KYC. Jennyta plays a key role in streamlining onboarding workflows, verifying client documentation, assessing risk profiles, and maintaining accurate records across our systems. She also supports our team with the management of client services and tackling their daily queries.

Nandisha joined our Client Services Department here at Albula Asset Management International in January 2023. Nandisha has a BSC in Business Management with Specialisation in Financial Services from the Open University of Mauritius and brings 5 years of compliance experience within the Financial Services.

As Team Leader of Client Services Department, Nandisha manages client relationships and ensures regulatory compliance across onboarding and due diligence processes. Nandisha excels at resolving challenges, mentoring team members, and implementing process improvements that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Whether navigating complex onboarding scenarios or streamlining internal processes, Nandisha is the go-to leader.

Lester is Founder and Chairman of Albula, with over 35 years investment management experience in major Institutional Investment Institutions as a Regional and Global Investment Manager. He originally trained as an Investment Analyst before becoming a Manager of direct investment portfolios in the Life and Pension Fund industry for such companies as Royal Insurance, PosTel Investment Management and Target Group. He has a Joint BSc Hons Degree in Politics and Law from Southampton University, is a Fellow of the Securities Institute and a graduate of the Investment Management Programme of the London Business School.

Chief Executive Officer

Phillip Hadley is the Chief Executive Officer of Albula Asset Management International. He founded the international office in Mauritius in 2004, bringing over a decade of experience in the multi-manager portfolio management industry across Europe. Phillip is highly regarded for his expertise in top-down asset allocation policy and in-depth quantitative and qualitative research, which underpin Albula’s investment strategies.

Specializing in the creation of tailored investment solutions, Phillip serves a diverse client base of intermediaries and high-net-worth individuals across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. His innovative approach to portfolio management has consistently delivered value, helping clients navigate complex markets with confidence.

Phillip holds a degree from Queen Mary College, University of London, and an MBA from the University of Birmingham. He is a Fellow of the Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIoD) and is accredited as a Key Individual and Representative by the South African Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).

Daniel joined the Albula investment team in 2020 as an analyst and has since been promoted to portfolio manager. Daniel graduated with a first class honours in Economics from the University of East Anglia in 2019. Throughout Daniel's degree he worked as a part time administrator at Roberts Mackie Winstanley IFA in Norwich and post graduating was promoted to research analyst where he designed and managed the investment strategy for the firm.

Francis joined the Albula investment team in 2022 as an analyst, and is now one of their Portfolio Managers. Prior to joining Albula Francis worked at Abrdn specialising in multi-asset investment risk, and later joined their European private equity desk as an Analyst. Francis graduated with a first-class honours in Business and Management from Aston University and has achieved his Investment Management Certificate. He is now working towards his CFA qualification.

James joined Albula in 2022 as an anlyst and has since been promoted to senior analyst, supporting the investment team with fund research and analysis. James studied Accounting and Finance at BNU, graduating with a first-class honour in 2021. Following this, he completed an internship in Open-Banking as a Junior Analyst, where he undertook commercial tasks and enhanced his analytical skills. During the end of the internship, James began a master’s degree in Behavioural Finance at Henley Business School, which he completed in May 2022.

Marina is Albula Europe's Client Services and Operations Manager. Marina studied Business Studies at Bournemouth University where she realised an affinity for investment operations. She graduated with BA Honours, straight into a role at J.P. Morgan in their Derivates team. Marina now has over 9 years’ experience in investment operations teams, but also in compliance and anti-money laundering teams where she has been responsible for identification, investigation and submission of suspicious activity reports to Law Enforcement. Such experience places Marina in a perfect position to manage our European operation and support the needs of our financial advisers.

Karla Quesnel

Karla joined the Albula Europe operations team in 2023 as our Compliance Officer. Karla was born and raised in Mexico City and studied International Business at Anahuac University of Mexico, graduating with honors. Karla then went on to study a masters degree in international banking and financial markets where she graduated second in her class. This provided Karla with the opportunity to work as an intern in Banco Santander Madrid, in the area of Business Banking - a prestigious award in Mexico. Karla moved to Mallorca in 2004 and has since gained valuable experience in several banks, including Halifax Bank of Spain, Lloyds Bank of Spain and Sabadell, working in a range of roles including cash operations, financial advisor, branch supervisor, sales support and analysis and risk control. Such vast experience provides Karla with an enormous set of skills to support Albula Europe with our Compliance duties.

André moved to Mallorca from the United Kingdom at a very young age and soon began translating for local ex pats in their business and legal meetings. An instinctive communicator due to his translation work, he is fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan. André has represented a number of companies in the sales sector and is now focused on developing new skills. He quickly aspired to enter the financial sector when the right opportunity presented itself and looks forward to developing his role with Albula Europe.

He graduated with a BS in Accounting, moving directly into the fintech sector where he specialized in developing equity analysis software for institutional platforms.

Keith has over 14 years of experience in the financial services industry, bolstered by his background as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a registered securities principal. Before joining our team, he served as the Director of Financial Wellness at a Fortune 100 insurance giant, where he was responsible for identifying market inefficiencies and educating investors on deep-value opportunities. Such a unique blend of rigorous professional licensing and a proven track record of identifying high-conviction "deep value" plays places Keith in a perfect position to bridge the gap between institutional strategy and evolving market sentiment.

Such deep market insight places Arjun in a perfect position to capture alpha in the Indian landscape and ensure superior execution for our global institutional clients.

Rachael is a business graduate from the University of Greenwich in the UK. Her specialist skills in Human Resources and Client Liaison bring support to the management team. She has since been appointed as Associate Director of Finance and Compliance.
